The Xarxa d'Emprenedoria Universitària starts to carry out a coordinated actions to promote entrepreneurship, and contribute to the detection of entrepreneurial talent and creating business vocations in the university community.
Its consists of the University of Barcelona (UB), Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), Polytechnic University of Catalunya (UPC), Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), the Open University of Catalunya (UOC), the Rovira and Virgili University (URV), University of Girona (UdG), University of Lleida (UDL), the University of Vic (UVic), the School of Maresme, the College of Health Sciences and the Polytechnic School of Mataró (grouped Tecnocampus Foundation Mataró-Maresme, and attached respectively in the UPF and UPC)
The Xarxa d'Emprenedoria Universitària is based on four strategic lines, from which actions take place:

1. Motivate and encourage the entrepreneurial spirit of the Catalan university community, fostering an environment conducive to generating business vocations.
2. Create and promote innovative ideas in emerging business ventures in the university environment, encouraging networking and business.
3. Grow and consolidate business initiatives, encouraging innovation and the use of new technologies.
4. Generate knowledge, with ability to provide resources and devices aimed at enhancing the university entrepreneurship.

In this context, the activities of the Xarxa d'Emprenedoria Universitària are divided into 5 major parts: workshops and seminars (in person), online activities (online courses, simulators and awards), a Summer Campus, the Forum and research and extension publications.
